John Irving: The World According to Garp This was my first J. Irving book. Had it not been for my mother's recommendation, I wouldn't have picked it up. Highly entertaining! :)
Laura Esquivel: Like Water for Chocolate Part love story, part fantasy. not to mention mystical and erotic! It's amazing how the author was able to successfully mix all those elements. Love it!
